RENEGADES WATER POLO ACADEMY

1. INTRODUCTION
These Terms and Conditions govern your relationship with Renegades Water Polo Academy ("we", "us", or "Renegades") when you use our services, attend our training sessions, participate in our events, or use our website. By enrolling yourself or your child in any Renegades program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. MEMBERSHIP AND REGISTRATION
2.1. Membership at Renegades Water Polo Academy is open to individuals of all ages and abilities, subject to age-appropriate groupings.
2.2. All participants must complete a registration form before participating in any activities. For participants under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must complete the registration.
2.3. By registering, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and up-to-date.
2.4. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel membership at our discretion.
3. PAYMENT TERMS
3.1. All fees are payable monthly in advance, as specified in our current price list.
3.2. Monthly fees are due by the 5th of each month and are non-refundable.
3.3. Drop-in sessions must be paid for prior to participation.
3.4. Fees may be adjusted with 30 days' notice.
3.5. Non-payment of fees may result in suspension of membership until payment is received.
3.6. International tours and special events may incur additional costs that are not included in the regular monthly fees.
4. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
4.1. Membership may be canceled with 30 days' written notice.
4.2. No refunds will be issued for missed sessions, regardless of the reason.
4.3. In exceptional circumstances (such as long-term illness or injury), partial refunds or credits may be considered at the management's discretion.
4.4. If sessions are canceled by Renegades due to unforeseen circumstances (pool closures, weather conditions, etc.), we will endeavor to arrange make-up sessions or provide credit for future use.
5. HEALTH AND SAFETY
5.1. All participants must be able to swim and meet the basic water competency requirements for their age group.
5.2. Participants must disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or injuries that may affect their ability to participate safely.
5.3. Renegades reserves the right to request a medical clearance from a healthcare professional for any participant with health concerns.
5.4. In case of emergency, Renegades staff will take reasonable steps to secure medical assistance, which may include contacting emergency services.
5.5. All coaches are trained in first aid and water safety procedures.
6. CODE OF CONDUCT
6.1. All participants, parents, coaches, and spectators must adhere to our Code of Conduct, which promotes respect, fair play, and positive sportsmanship.
6.2. Bullying, harassment, discrimination, or any form of inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
6.3. Renegades reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership for violation of the Code of Conduct without refund.6.4. Parents/guardians are responsible for their children's behavior at all times when not directly under coaching supervision.
7. LIABILITY AND INSURANCE
7.1. Participation in water polo activities carries inherent risks. By agreeing to these terms, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
7.2. While we take all reasonable precautions to ensure safety, Renegades Water Polo Academy, its coaches, staff, and volunteers cannot be held liable for injuries, accidents, or damages that occur during participation in our activities, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
7.3. Participants are advised to have their own personal accident insurance and health insurance.
7.4. Renegades maintains public liability insurance as required by South African law.
8. PERSONAL BELONGINGS
8.1. Renegades Water Polo Academy is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings brought to our facilities or events.
8.2. Participants are advised not to bring valuables to training sessions.
9. PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA
9.1. Renegades may take photographs or videos of participants during training sessions, competitions, or events for promotional purposes, website content, social media, or training analysis.
9.2. By agreeing to these terms, you grant permission for such media to be used, unless you have specifically opted out in writing.
9.3. Photography or recording by parents, participants, or spectators must comply with our photography policy and respect the privacy of others.
10. DATA PROTECTION
10.1. Personal information collected will be used in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa.
10.2. We will only use your personal data for purposes related to your membership and will not share it with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
10.3. You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information.
